My Story
Ever since I was a kid in Texas, playing my dad's drums in the living room, music has mattered to me. Before any of that turned into a career, I served in the U.S. Air Force (2007–2012) as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic — years spent keeping flight-line equipment running under pressure, on tight timelines, with zero room for error. That discipline is still the foundation of how I work today; a stage build isn't so different from a flight line when the show has to go on regardless of what breaks.
After my service, I traded my boots for headphones, earned a Bachelor's in Audio Production, and dove into stagehanding around Southern California — dive bars, amphitheaters, and everything in between. That ground-level start is why I run a stage the way I do: I've done nearly every job on the crew myself, so I know what my team needs before they have to ask.
